Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce

The Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce serves as a central hub for supporting, connecting, and advocating for local businesses throughout the community.

The goal of this project was to modernize and unify the Chamber’s visual identity while improving clarity, consistency, and engagement across all programs and communications. I led the full visual rebrand, including the redesign of the primary logo and the development of cohesive branding systems for major programs and events. This included creating custom event logos and color palettes to ensure strong visual recognition across all print and digital platforms.

As the in-house designer, I produced a wide range of marketing and communication materials that elevated the Chamber’s brand and strengthened member engagement. This included designing numerous Chamber event programs, PowerPoint presentations, and welcome signage for well-known Chamber events held throughout the year, ensuring a polished, professional, and consistent visual experience across all in-person and digital touchpoints.

I completely redesigned the Thursday Throwdown weekly email newsletter, combining bold visuals with improved layout and navigation. The refreshed design resulted in open rates over 50% higher than the national average for Chambers of Commerce.

I also designed a comprehensive, user-friendly Membership Guide that simplified complex offerings into a clean, accessible format for prospective and current members. Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I ensured all materials aligned with the Chamber’s mission to connect, empower, and support local businesses.

Additionally, I contributed to the Chamber’s website redesign by supporting visual layout and user experience improvements. These efforts helped the site earn the 2024 ACCE Communications Excellence Award for Best Website, a national recognition highlighting its effectiveness and design quality.
This body of work reflects a strategic, unified design approach that supports organizational goals, strengthens brand credibility, and reinforces the Chamber’s connection to the business community.
